Spots

• Scheveningen Noord

  Beach break between the groynes north of the harbour. Sand bottom, beginner-friendly, often crowded.

• Scheveningen Zuid

  Beach break south of the harbour, sheltered from north to north-east wind. Intermediate.

• Kijkduin

  Quieter beach break with peaks by the groynes. Works best at low to mid tide.

• Wijk aan Zee Noordpier

  Beach break next to the IJmuiden north pier, mostly lefts. Watch out for currents along the pier.
